Chester A. Arthur
This illustration of Chester A. Arthur, our 21st president, was done for the cd called Of Great and Mortal Men, by Christian Kiefer, Jefferson Pitcher and Matthew Gerken. There are three cd's full of forty-three songs, each about a different president. You can read more about the project here. National Public Radio featured the project on October 8, 2008 as well. Below are a couple of actual portraits of Arthur. I like his sideburns.
